Tesla Sense is a built-in artificial intelligence that enables Tesla's self-driving system. The system is powered by machine learning and allows the automobile to think, see, listen, learn, and navigate limitless driving scenarios. Sense introduces a new way of interacting with and experiencing your vehicle beyond transportation.
Key Feature Scenario
01_ Morning-Alarm Notifications
Based on the user’s schedule and the collected traffic data, it automatically calculates the estimated arrival time to the day's first destination. The notification will remind the user when they need to leave the house to arrive on time.
02_Activation Mode
Voice Recognition
Once the user gets in the car, the user’s voice will activate Sense by simply saying ‘Hi Tesla’. Sense will show all the information the driver needs to know during the activation mode before switching to the autonomous mode. From the car's status to weather information for the destination, Sense prepares the user for the journey.
03_Autonomous Driving Mode
Multiple Tasks
During the autonomous driving mode, the user can do multiple tasks while the car is focused on driving. For example, while you’re calling your wife on the way to your meeting, she reminds you to buy a cake for your daughter. Sense can pick up on the user's needs by recognizing your voice and helping you order the cake from the nearest bakery to your meeting place.
04_Ordering and Pick-up Notifications
When a user is not using the car, it can perform other tasks that the user commanded beforehand. When the user confirms the task, it automatically sends out the order and picks it up autonomously.
